The core service area includes Worthing, Goring-by-Sea and nearby coastal and inland communities. Home visits may also be available around Ferring, East Preston, Rustington, Littlehampton, Arundel, Shoreham-by-Sea, Steyning and Storrington.
The wider area extends approximately towards Chichester and Bognor Regis in the west, Horsham to the north, and Brighton and Saltdean to the east. Journey time, clinical need and appointment availability all affect what is practical, so each postcode is checked individually.

Why therapy at home can be useful
A familiar environment can reduce the pressure of travelling to a clinic and make it easier to involve the people who support you. It also lets therapy connect directly to real conversations, routines, communication tools and mealtimes.
Home is not automatically the right setting for every assessment. Nessa will consider privacy, clinical safety, equipment and whether another location or service is better suited to the question that needs answering.

Online support may work well for some communication goals, reviews, family or carer coaching and professional liaison. It can also make follow-up easier when travel is difficult.
Not every assessment can be completed safely or accurately online, particularly some swallowing assessments. Ember will recommend online work only when it is clinically appropriate and genuinely useful.

Enquiries from residents, families and care teams are welcome. Nessa will discuss consent, the purpose of the visit and any information needed from the care team.
What happens if I am outside the area?
